65 Hotels Receive Certificate of Accommodation Safety StandardsA total of 65 hotels received a certificate of the accommodation safety standards from the Badung Government. The certificates were presented by Executive Official of the Badung Regent, I Ketut Sudikerta, in the Sun Island Hotel Kuta, Thursday (Sep 27).

Of the 75 accommodation providers joining the assessment, 33 hotels achieved the first rank with a gold grade, 29 hotels of second rank with silver grade, 3 hotels of third rank with bronze grade and 10 hotels were declared to have not acquired the rank because they had not meet the specified standards.

Chairman of the organizing community doubling as the Head of Badung Government Tourism Office, Cokorda Raka Darmawan, said the reward was aimed at improving the safety and comfort in the hotel especially in Badung. It started from the socialization held in May 2012.

According to him, the socialization could run smoothly and receive an enthusiastic appreciation from the hotel management and owners. It was realized because the socialization would have an impact on the tourism image in Badung Regency. (BTN/015)
