Blood Donation at Harris Tuban

Blood Donation at Harris TubanIn conjunction with commemorating the 10th anniversary, the Harris Hotel Tuban organized a series of social events such as blood donation. All employees, whether working at the Harris Hotel Tuban and other hotels under the Harris Group and neighboring hotels engaged in such activities. Even, the surrounding communities also donated their blood.

“Saving one’s life is not necessarily to become a doctor. By donating a drop of blood, we can save lives. We expect this activity can be beneficial for the community,” said General Manager of the Harris Hotel Tuban, Andreas Lelonoh, amidst the event, last week.

With the theme ‘Reborn,’ namely coming back to the community, explained Andreas, his party wanted to interpret the celebration by filling it with beneficial activities for all people such as the blood donation. At least, it would be useful for the communities living around the hotel. “We want to do what we can do, even though starting from a little thing like blood donation,” he said.

Public Relations of the hotel, Siti Nurhayati, said that other than blood donation, her party also donated usable clothing, school supplies and groceries to Mahanaim Orphanage at Baluk, Negara. “On Friday, October 20, we will clean up the beach by involving staff and community. Meanwhile, pinnacle of the event will be held on Sunday, October 22 by organizing Media Gathering,” she explained. (BTN/014)
