Hotels in Gianyar Achieve Taxpayer Award

Hotels in Gianyar Achieve Taxpayer AwardGianyar government rewarded the taxpayers like hotels and restaurants on Friday (Dec 14). At the same time, it also handed over the awards to surveyors, collectors and chief of market. The award was presented by Deputy Regent, Dewa Made Sutanaya.There were 50 taxpayers who received the rewards, divided into eight star hotels, 21 boutique hotels, 7 cottages, 7 restaurants, 7 entertainment spots, 8 surveyors/collectors and 6 chiefs of the market.

“The award serves as an expression of gratitude to taxpayers that have carried out their obligations properly. Similarly, it is also delivered to collection officer and chief of market that have worked hard in implementing the tasks to realize the revenue targets set,” said the Head of Gianyar Revenue Service, Dewa Mahayasa.

Assessment criteria applied were the accuracy, compliance, discipline of taxpayers to meet their obligation and the amount of duty paid on the tax charged. Meanwhile, for collectors and surveyors, the emphasis was put on the amount of tax revenue realization becoming their responsibility. Deputy Regent explained that the regionally generated revenue (PAD) of Gianyar each year increased from 2007/2008 amounted to IDR 75,129,603,729.09 where up to December 10, 2012 amounted to IDR 235,234,306,700.49. “This increase is largely derived from the hotel and restaurant tax whose awareness began to increase,” he said.

Classification of star hotel started from rank 1 to 8, namely: Hotel Four Seasons, Hanging Garden Hotel, Hotel Amandari, Hotel Alila, Como Shambhala, Hotel Maya Resort, Hotel Kupu-Kupu Barong and Samaya Hotel. Classification of Boutique Hotel I from rank 1 to 7 consisted of PT The Purist Bali, Villa Sabandari, Tanah Merah, Kumara Sakti, Adi Cottage, Love Inn and Villa Vajra.

Classification of Boutique Hotel II from rank 1 to 7 consisted Hotel Taman Safari, Rumah Semesta, Hotel Ananda, Tegal Sari, Bamboo Indah, Bagus Jati and Green Field. Classification of Boutique Hotel III from rank 1 to 7 consisted of the Tanah Gajah Rajasa (The Chedi Club), Ibah Hotel, Hotel Kamuela, Ubud Green Village, Hotel Pitamaha, Yulia Village and Komaneka Resort. Classification of Cottage from rank 1 to 7 consisted of Pondok Wisata Rama, Villa Kajane, Pondok Wisata Ramona, Puspa Villa Puri, Okawati Sunset, Sanctuary Village and Lady Bamboo.

Classification of restaurant from rank 1 to 7 consisted of Bridge Café, Restaurant PT. Taman Safari, Mozaic Restaurant, Bebek Bengil Restaurant, Indus Restaurant, Casa Luna Restaurant and Oops Restaurant. Classification of Entertainment from rank 1 to 7 consisted of Taman Safari Indonesia III, Wisata Reksa Gajah Perdana, Bali Zoo Park, PT Taman Burung, Kirana Spa, PT. Bali Adventure Rafting, Wisata Wenara Wana and Taksu Spa.

Meanwhile, for surveyors and collectors were represented by each regional head, from rank 1 to 7, consisting of Region I, Region VI, Region IV, Region II, Region VII, Region Bintang and Region V.
