Kuta Executive Club

Conducted Beach Cleaning Acticity

Kuta Executive ClubIn anticipating the volume of rubbish in Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak beaces during the rain and West wind seasons, hotels association under Kuta Executive Club conducted environmental friendly activity such as beach cleaning on Friday, 7 February 2014 at Kuta, Legian and Seminyak beaches.

There were more than 500 participants representing hotels in Kuta, Legian and Seminyak conducted the beach cleaning activity which commenced at 7am for one and a half hours. The participants were separated into two groups and started from the beach in front of Padma Bali Legian. One group moved toward Kuta beach and the other group toward Seminyak beach. The target was to clean up the beach from plastic trashes and other non-biodegradable items. A coordination was also done with the Badung Green Team to remove to collected rubbish to the dump-area.

“This activity is important to maintain the cleanliness of the beach and sustain the comfort of visitors. This is also reflecting the concern amongst hotel members of Kuta Executive Club to the government effort to keep Bali clean”, explained by Gusti Kade Sutawa, the chairman of Kuta Executive Club.
