Agung Wiryanata said the making of web-based accounting system was first performed by the MAH students. The making process lasted for approximately one month under the guidance of supervising lecturers. “We are very proud that MAH students have been capable of creating a simple information system that can be applied to small hotels, so that it can become a contribution of the STP students to tourism sector particularly the hospitality,” he said.

The accounting system made included the making of bill, bill of travel agency, registration of the number of in-house guests, summary of room sales, summary of food and beverage sales, report on hotel sales and recapitulation of cash receipts. Director of STP Nusa Dua Bali represented by the Head of Hospitality Department, Dr. Ida Bagus Made Wyasha, expressed his appreciation for the results of management application made by the MAH students. “It proved that amidst the advanced information technology the students were able to see the opportunities and increase their competence by making a web-based accounting system,” he said.
