The Student Art Week (PSP) 2013 of Badung County put 18 areas of the art into competition. They started from dancing, vocal, painting to transliterating from Latin script into Balinese script. The art event took place for two days (Mar 16-18) with the participants consisting of the envoys from kindergarten, elementary, junior high to high school and vocational school across Badung.
The contents of competition for elementary school students consisted of Kupu-Kupu Tarum Dance, single Baris Dance, Balinese storytelling, macepat/sekar alit singing, painting and transliteration from Latin to Balinese script. Category for secondary school students comprised the Tenun Dance and Kebyar Duduk Dance, speech in Balinese, mekidung/sekar madya psalmody, painting and transliteration from Latin into Balinese script on palm leaves. Meanwhile, for the category of senior high and vocational school consisted of Cilinaya Dance, Jauk Keras Dance, sermon, makakawin/sekar agung, painting and transliteration from Latin into Balinese script on palm leaves.
The PSP was inaugurated in conjunction with the Student Sport Week (Porjar) by Deputy Regent of Badung, I Ketut Sudikerta, in the Mengwi Public Square, Friday (Mar 15). (BTN/015)
