A World Hindu Summit event would be held in Badung on the upcoming June-9-12. Badung Regent AA Gde Agung welcomed the implementation of the activity as a forum to convey the messages of harmony, peace, tolerance and foster a sense of brotherhood for all people.
“As a host, let us serve various superb indigenous wisdoms we have ranging from good manners, etiquette, art presentation and culture to the whole delegates of the World Hindu Summit coming from all over the world,” said Gde Agung when receiving the organizing committee of the World Hindu Summit 2012 on Friday (May 11).

On that account, his party would be presenting a traditional dance becoming the mascot of Badung Regency, namely the Sekar Jepun Dance and a fragmentary. Additionally, his party would prepare vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus for participants and invited guests.
“We do hope the World Hindu Summit which will been completed with a tirtha yatra or pilgrimage activity to a number of temples in Bali, including the Taman Ayun, can become a moment of spiritual tourism awakening for Bali and Badung in particular,” he said.
