Through the art exhibition entitled Ananta Cipta or literally meaning unlimited creation was inaugurated by Deputy Rector I, I Ketut Murdana, in the Hasta Mandala Exhibition Building of the ISI Denpasar, Saturday (Feb 9).
The exhibition taking place for a week was the requirement of examination of the Art Creation Subject 3 and the Creation of Artwork program. Besides, the exhibition was also a development process of creating art for the students to support the teaching and learning activities. “It is regularly organized as a showcase of creativity, so that it can become an opportunity for community members to appreciate the results of their learning process,” said Murdana.
Many works of the exhibition explored the theme on social phenomena in society. In the exhibition, participants showed off their best works such as paintings, photography, visual communication and graphic installation. “We hope the exhibition can take action and contribute mainly to improve the discourse, evaluation and appreciation to the arts to the community,” added Murdana.
The featured theme Ananta Cipta was based on the process of creation without limitation in producing works of art that could generate creativity, taste and intention, but still had a theoretical basis and could be justified scientifically. (BTN/015)
