Lontar

LontarThe lontar tree is quite similar with coconut tree. The fruit can be eaten and the juice of the lontar called “nira” can be used to make a nice drink. The people in Bali commonly used the leaf of lontar. Many ancient writing of the Hindus are found I the dried lontar leafs. Currently, the Hindus still use the lontar leaves to write especially in traditional Balinese language.
