Dua - Nusa Dua Beach Hotel &
Spa recently appointed Julita Chandra
as Marketing & Communications
Manager and Ni Ketut Danti as Spa
Sales Executive.
After 4 years of study in the Economic
Faculty majoring Management at Udayana
University, Julita started her career
as a Sales Secretary in Hotel Bintang
Bali (now Ramada Bintang Bali) in
1996. She later joined PT. Coca-Cola
Amatil Indonesia as Executive Secretary
from 1997-2001. Her latest position
before joining the Nusa Dua Beach
Hotel & Spa was Executive Secretary
for Amanresorts Indonesia. She will
be in charge of maintaining a good
relationship with press and manage
the hotel’s promotion.
 Danti
started as a Therapist in January
1997 and was promoted to Spa Receptionist
in May 2000. With her new responsibility
as Spa Sales Executive, Danti is
now in charge of developing major
accounts related to spa.

STSI
Academy’s Pre-graduation Testing
 DENPASAR
– Denpasar’s STSI Indonesian
Academy of Arts staged an examination
to graduate scholars in dance and
art of gamelan orchestra and singing
in its campus in 2002/2003 Academic
Year starting from 17 – 21 December
2002, while the examinees coming from
handicraft and painting program performed
the graduation testing beginning by
17 December until 24 December 2002.
The STSI Academy’s Chief, Dr.
I Wayan Rai S. MA, in his opening
speech told the audience that 24 students
participated the exams were of dance
art program, 11 from art of gamelan
orchestra and singing program, three
from program of art of performing
shadow play, three from the program
of handicrafts, and 48 from art of
painting department. Every examinee
student has to prepare works to be
tested in front of the exam council
and the society forum. (Budarsana)

- Bali Travel News (BTN) of the
Bali Post Media Group in its role
as organizer of Tri Hita Karana
(THK) Tourism Awards, signed a cooperation
agreement with Bali’s “PUTRI”
Association of Indonesian Tourism
Objects Tuesday (31 December 2002)
in Bali’s Tourism Office. The
event took place at the end of Course
and Training on Certification of
Mid-level Guides of Bali Province
2002, officiated by Berata Ashrama
of the BTN management and Nyoman
Rudana of PUTRI’s leadership.

Draw
 KUTA
– November 18, 2002 become a
very special day for Riyadh, the bell
captain of Kuta Paradiso Hotel as
he was the lucky winner of the Grand
Prize during the employee day of Kuta
Paradiso Hotel. A brand new motorbike
was handed over to Riyadh at the annual
event organized in the Paradiso Fun
Pub. On the picture is shown how Ms.
