Warti Buleleng Balinese Catering


Warti Buleleng (60 years old), born in Banjar Lateng, Sibang Kaja, Abiansemal, Badung has been involved in selling complete rice banquets since she was a child, although she actually trained at Sekolah Perawat Kesehatan (Nursing school) at Wangaya hospital, Denpasar. She worked as a nurse at Wangaya Hospital and Sanglah Public Hospital, Denpasar before she was really able to fully concentrate on her lifelong passion of cooking in 1989. tic views.

She started out with only her children and a couple of paid helpers, but has now progressed to employing some fifty people. She lives in the Jl. Gatot Subroto area, which is an excellent base for her very successful catering business.

Traditional Foods
Traditional Balinese foods and cakes are the main staple of her business, some of which she has customized. She also makes star fruit leaf vegetable, sate (small pieces of meat roasted on skewers), lawar (sliced meat mixed with vegetables)
Warti also caters for hotels in tourism areas such as Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Kuta. “ I also produce food for wedding parties and many government offices in Bali,” she said.(Budarsana )
