Air
Paradise Tickets on Sale
Air
Paradise International, Balis first
international airline, will commence its
maiden air service between Bali and Australia
on Sunday, February 16, 2003. The company
started selling tickets from January 6 after
several weeks of temporary closure following
the Kuta bomb 12 October. Yes, we
have started selling tickets again,
said the owner of Air Paradise, Kadek Wiranatha
to Bali Travel News.
In the latest press release, the company
stated that Air International flight schedules
between Australia and Bali and also domestic
schedules between Bali and Jakarta will
remain as originally planned prior to the
devastating October 12th bomb, which saw
the temporary postponement of the airlines
four times per week schedule between Perth
and Bali and three times per week schedule
between Melbourne and Bali.
Kadek Wiranatha has been commended in his
decision to pursue the vision of Balis
own international airline. Each day
I continue to receive letters and phone
calls from the travel industry and the public,
pledging their full support for this venture,
said Wiranatha.
Commenting on the timing of the airlines
re-launch Wiranatha said Now, more
than ever I firmly believe Bali has a need
for its own international airline. An airline
that will be dedicated to actively promoting
our island to ensure the recovery of Balis
main source of income tourism.
Air Paradise International will use an Airbus
A310 - 300 aircraft, formerly in operation
with Singapore Airlines, offering a two-class
configuration of 12 Paradise class (business)
and 171 economy class seats. A full meal
service will be provided, with visual and
audio entertainment on board.
National business manager Gary Hilt confirmed
the airlines pricing policy
will offer passengers excellent value for
money and encourage their return to the
island. (*/dap)
