Golden Days at Melia

Imagine beautiful white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and a 5 star establishment that blends unobtrusively into the natural serenity of Balinese architecture, culture and environment. This is Melia Bali Villas and Spa, located in Nusa Dua on the southern peninsula of the island.

Melia offers a magical blend of 5 star facilities and amenities, exclusive Garden Villas for those in search of total privacy and top-notch entertainment and dining. Far from being just another outlet in the Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts chain, all of this is delivered in true Balinese style. It is no wonder, then, that Melia Bali Villas and Spa won the gold Tri Hita Karana award for 2002, in recognition of the Melia’s success in incorporating this special Balinese Hindu philosophy into the hotel’s culture.
Essentially, Tri Hita Karana is concerned with the harmony created out of the balance of relations between humans, God and the environment. One of the most striking aspects at the Melia is the staff and the special attention given to ensure the comfort of all guests. Although famed for their traditional Balinese hospitality, such warmth and professionalism is a special feature of this 5 star resort, which has been nurtured with the ‘BAGUS’ – Best Attitude For Guest Satisfaction – system. This also provides guests with the opportunity to acknowledge particular staff members for their outstanding performance.
For those interested in entertainment and activities, a number of sport and pool based activities are offered on a daily basis with highly competent and entertaining staff. But it’s not all about water volley and aerobics. Demonstrations on various aspects of Balinese culture such as cooking, wood carving, Balinese dancing and even a temple tour and ceremony, amongst others, are also provided free of charge. For night time entertainment there are various evening programs such as beach front barbecues, with world-wide mouth-watering cuisine, special romantic dining arrangements, and the not to be missed Bali Boulevard cabaret show, which is a truly spectacular event exclusive to the Melia.
One cannot fail to relax in the beautifully furbished suites, or to chill out in the lovely landscaped gardens whilst listening to the sounds of the gentle lapping of the Indian Ocean. A trip to the Melia Bali Spa however, conveniently located between the beach and the lagoon shaped pool, opens new dimensions to the idea of relaxation. From the moment of entering the spa, one is enveloped in an atmosphere of pure luxury, and pampering is the order of the day. Wonderfully discreet staff provide professional treatments and service in comfortable yet undoubtedly Balinese surroundings. Be warned! One treatment may only be the start, so refreshing and relaxing is the complete experience.
Staying at Melia Bali Villas and Spa is a truly wonderful experience, and this is perhaps best reflected in the number of loyal guests who continue to holiday at the Melia on a regular basis. There really does seem to be something on offer for all ages and all tastes, and the undenable atmosphere of both guest and staff satisfaction makes the Melia Villas and Spa more than just a memorable holiday resort.
