Female Employer Award
 LOMBOK
– On
December 23, 2002 The President
of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati
Soekarnoputri, personally congratulated
Stephane Fagez, General Manager
Novotel Coralia Lombok, for being
awarded the best female employer
award from the Ministry of Women.
Best private employer for West Nusa
Tenggara Province, Stephane Fagez
was the only expatriate representing
the only international company to
receive the awards for the whole
of Indonesia.

“Jayeng
Rupa” Painting Exhibition
 DENPASAR
- As many as eleven scholars from
the Art Department of STSI Denpasar
exhibited their works to the public
in a painting exhibition, entitled
“Jayeng Rupa”. The exhibition
was officially opened by the head
of STSI Denpasar, Wayan Rai S. It
took place from 8 – 22 February
2003 in “Sidik Jari” museum,
on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Tanjung Bungkak
Denpasar. Wayan Rai S. said that
the aim of the exhibition was not
only to welcome critiques from art
lovers who viewed the works, but
also intended to fascinate tourists
and convince them that Bali is back
to its secure atmosphere after the
bomb blast last October 12. Seen

Zero
Accident Award
 NUSA
DUA – Nikko Bali Resort and
Spa received a “Zero Accident
Award” from the President of
Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri
on its achievement of 7.064.001
employees working hours without
working accidents, on the implementation
of the Occupational Safety and Health
Management System, since 10 November
1999 to 31 October 2002. This award
presentation is based on Manpower
and Transmigration Ministerial decree
no. KEP.01/Men/2003 dated 03 January
2003, in conjunction with the 2003
National Occupational Safety and
Health Management System. Seen in

Years Service Reward

– Ramada Bintang Bali resort
held its regular ‘’Associate
Recognition” in December 2002
to announce its ‘’Ten Year
Service” reward presentation
to 59 employees from different departments.
Each employee who has been employed
for 10 years service is entitled to
a plaque and a cash reward as a token
of appreciation from the management
of Ramada Bintang Bali Resort. Seen

Badung Painting Group
 BADUNG
- As many as eight painters from
the North Badung Painter’s
Group (BARA=Badung Utara) exhibited
47 paintings at the Bali Art Centre,
Denpasar. The exhibition took place
from January 25 until February 7,
2003. The painters who exhibited
naturalist and abstract works were
Ngurah Marta, Beratha Yasa, Ketut
Kasib, Lentong Toya, Suwirka, Gede
Wiryawan, Dukuh Kardiyasa and Ngurah
Widiana. Seen in the picture, Canadian
and American tourists visiting the
