Puri Bagus Hotel:
Another Place to Take a Rest

The Puri Bagus Hotel is the silver medal winner of the THK award 2002 held by Bali Travel News magazine. The hotel received the award because of its efforts in balancing the Balinese philosophy (Parhyangan- Culture, Pawongan- Community and Palemahan- Environment). Through this philosophy, the quality of the hotel will improve.

The hotel is located on the main route from Denpasar to the ancient Padangbai harbour named Candidasa. By means of its motto for quality and diversity, Puri Bagus Hotel is the most comfortable place to stay for lazy days. The hotel offers you the magnificent sea as well as mountains. The black sands of Samuh beach lie just a walk away east of the hotel with two big coral islands clearly seen while you are playing on the beach. Gumang Mountain can be seen in the background just a little bit east of the hotel.
The hotel has 30 rooms and is situated only a short distance away from some lovely sights. You can see the ancient village of Tenganan, Bat Cave Temple, Taman Tirta Gangga, Taman Ujung and the mother temple, Besakih. You really must take time to go and visit this hotel and meet I Gusti Agung Krisna Putra, the General Manager. (Didi)
