Exercise Competition
in Singaraja City Anniversary

As many as 47 woman exercise groups in Singaraja participated in the Exercise Competition “Ayo Bersatu”(Let’s Unite) in Sasana Budaya Building (Singaraja’s Art Center) on March 28 2003.The competition was held by Persatuan Wanita Olahraga Seluruh Indonesia (Perwosi) – The Indonesian Women’s Sport Association- at Buleleng regency. This competition was held in line with the 399th Singaraja City anniversary which is celebrated on 30 March 2003. This event was race on the money prices and trophies. Every group was performing the lively and tidy aerobics movement.of the other purposes of the Dutch government.

The head of the Porwesi at Buleleng, Dewi Angga Priyatni, said that the participants came from several groups existing in Buleleng Regency. Besides the PKK (housewife) groups and the Dharma Wanita from the government institution, the women groups from the aerobic association, groups of employees and other women groups also take a part in this competition. The way to perform the exercise, body persistent, and the attribute tidiness are the assessment criterion. In addition, in doing the movements, the participants should perform the harmonies reflecting the art and the sport spirit. According to Dewi, this competition is the premier held by the Perwosi since it was established a couple of month. Later, this women group who like to do the exercise (Perwosi) will hold several competitions that participated by women such as: table tennis event and others. Perwosi also has the program improvement to the Buleleng women athletes. (leo)
