Bondres Competition
Denpasar
In the 55th anniversary of
Bali Post, a Bondres competition
was held in Denpasar Art Centers
wantilan, a traditional
open air public building. Bondres
features performing laymen figures
whose clowning and practical jokes
amuse audiences. Not only professional
Bondres groups performed; there
were also some amateur groups whose
naivety had spectators laughing
out loud. (dar)

PATA
Volunteers
NUSA
DUA - 70 volunteers from Udayana University,
Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP), STIE
Pariwisata, Sekolah Pariwisata Bali
and Mapindo Bali had significant roles
in the success of the 52nd PATA annual
conference at Bali Convention Center
in Nusa Dua, April 13-17, 2003. According
to Ni Made Amina Dewi (STP), she was
chosen as a volunteer. I am
expecting to have some experience
that hopefully can help me learn more
related to tourism. At least I can
test my command of foreign languages
and meet people from different countries,
she said to Bali Travel News.
