EMC Realizes Its Promise

EMC (the Extra-Mile Company), an enterprise which has offices in Singapore, Auckland (New Zealand), Australia, the United States and Britain, held an inter-management meeting in Bali last February. The participants agreed to give priority to and sell Bali to its costumers worldwide.
Since that time, four proposals resulting from the meeting have been made which offer incentives in choosing Bali as a destination for meetings and vacations. One of the responses came from HP (Hewlett Packard) Evolution of India, China, and Hong Kong who convened at the Grand Bali Hyatt from 24th to 29th April 2003.
Mr. Keri Davis, Accounts Manager of EMC in Auckland, said his party was happy to be able to convince this company to come to Bali in accordance with its promise to sell Bali. They are still giving priority to Bali despite the travel advisory, as they are confident that the people of Bali can maintain security and renewed growth.
Mr. Davis is also confident that his partner company, PT Pacific World Nusantara (PWN), in its role as EMC’S representative in Bali, is capable of giving maximum service, apart from insurance support. HP Evolution’s Li similarly said that Bali is very beautiful, while its people are very cordial and their culture is unique.

Appreciation for Mrs. June Waters

Bali Travel News gives an award of appreciation to tourists who visit Bali more than 25 times for their holiday. The first award was presented to Mrs. June Waters, who has visited Bali 35 times since 1989, at Griya Santrian, Sanur, last Monday (21/4) and was watched by many tourists who were also repeat guests of this hotel. As well as the certificate, the best painting collection of Bali Travel News was also dedicated to June Waters.
While smiling, Mrs. Waters and her husband explained that Bali has its own special attraction that cannot be described with words. The beaches, scenery and hospitality and generosity of the Balinese made them fall in love with this island of a thousand temples.
Mrs. Waters, born on 14th August 1943 in Ngaruawahia, New Zealand, confesses that she cannot describe in words how she had been in love with Bali since her first visit in December 1989. “I don’t know why, I really love to have a holiday in Bali. In New Zealand our house is quite simple because I would rather spend more money on having a vacation in Bali,” she said.
This mother of 5 children (one son and four daughters) and grandmother of 7 grandsons also says that when she is visiting Bali she would always rather take a Garuda flight and stay at the Griya Santrian Hotel. ‘Since the first visit to Bali, I have always stayed here.’
