Tie
the knot in Bali
Nusa
Dua - Despite the SARS outbreak in
Asia and the travel ban from the United
Kingdom, Mr. Wilcox and Ms. Sarah
Oxley, both UK citizens, tied the
knot recently at Melia Bali Villas
& Spa Resort. The wedding ceremony
was performed in the Christian marriage
tradition followed by a legal ceremony
in the Flamboyan Villa where the couple
are staying. Only the hotel management
and some witnesses attended the private
ceremony. After the priest gave his
blessing, the happy couple took their
vows in front of the witnesses saying
that they will respect and honor each
other for the rest of their lives.
The couple celebrated their honeymoon
for two weeks more at the resort.
We had planned to wed in Bali
and nothing could stop us from doing
it. Bali is such a beautiful place.
We will surely come back, perhaps
with our children, commented
Mrs. Wilcox. In the picture: Mr. Wilcox
making his marriage vows to his wife.
