Anniversary of Bali Post, Saturday
(16/8), symbolized with tumpeng
cutting by Madame Desak Gede Raka
Na-dha, as Commissioner of PT. Bali
Post. The ritual ceremony and gathered
prayer executed as well at the Pura
Dalem Kerti Bhuana that presented
by all management and staff of Bali
Post Group (Denpost, Bali Travel
News, Bisnis Bali, Bali TV, etc).
The night event was of interesting
public entertainment and handed
the prize winner of the competition
that held at Ardha Candra Open Stage

Kuta bomb blast victim, Mr. Ben
Tullipan from Gold Coast, Australia,
came to the bomb trial in Nari Graha,
Denpasar, August 11, 2003. Mr. Ben,
who lost both of his legs as the
results of Kuta bomb blast, became
the focus attention of mass media
in that day. Mr. Ben hopes that
the court will give a fair verdict

Graduates Research Business Possibilities
Denpasar
- Arjan Hassing, David Morgado Perez,
Nina van Aart, and Frans van der Werf,
four graduates and last year
students from Breda University, The
Netherlands, are visiting Bali for
about 7 weeks. They are zinterviewing
stakeholders in tourism in Bali for
finding things such as related to
methods and equipment for setting
up a sustainable tourism activities/products
in this island. They are also
identifying transport system, activities,
accommodation and stakeholders supporting
this programs. This activities are
supported by the Dutch largest tour
operator (TUI Nederland), CREM, TOI
as well as The Ministry of Environment
of the Republic of Indonesia. Besides
as an input for the Bali workshop
planned to be run in October, out
put of their visit will be finding
environmentally and sustainable tourist
packages which will be strongly promoted
