TABANAN 10 K

The marathon running competition of 10 Kilometer (Tabanan 10K) was competed last Sunday (8/9). The competition was for the first time executed by Tabanan Administrative Official was success in performance that involves 5000 athletes, consist of 1500 female athletes and 3500 male athletes. This marathon event is held as the 58th commemorative anniversary celebration of Indonesian Republic with taking the route around the Tabanan City, start and finish location in front of Tabanan Regency Office.

While running on the main street of Tabanan City, the vehicles troubling cannot compromise, however the spirit of each participant is to never give up. The marathon that start on 07.00 until 8.30 WITA, as the first winner for man category is Miguel Dakosta from Rindam, Tabanan with time recorded 32.21 minutes, and the second winner is Made Rai Tambira (SMU Selamadeg, 33.40 minutes). They received the price money amount of Rp 2.000.000,- and Rp 1.000.000. For woman category, the first winner is I Gusti Ayu Komang Suartini (SMU Bajra, 39.05 minutes), and the second winner is Ni Nyoman Ariani (SLTP Baturiti, 40.03 menit). Each winner receive the money amount of Rp 2.000.000,- and Rp 1.000.000,-
The youngest runner that succeeds placing the third position is Ni Kadek Lia Agustini (10 years old) from Elementary School, SD No. 3 Bantas Selamadeg. That cute little girl who stayed in SOS dormitory, Taruna village, Selamadeg, Tabanan will receive the price money Rp 500.000,- and other surprising prices.(BTN/015)
