According to Widia, last year’s tragedy at Kuta was a horrific blow for this tourism destination that employees 105 people, mostly from the Tanjung Benoa area. The SARS virus in Asia also supplied a bad effect on his business. “We all know that those disasters had a declining effect on tourism. We also feel the effect as well,” said Widia, the original villager from Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua.
However, Widia said he feels a little happier now, because tourism is on the increase on average about 100 – 150 per day.
