Shopping and Recreation at Kuta Gallery

Istana Kuta Gallery (IGK) is offering shoppers and tourists a comprehensive one stop modern shopping facility complete with recreation facilities. Located in a strategic area between Kuta and Legian, Istana Kuta Gallery offers many modern and complete commercial facilities, with the slogan “A Paradise In The Heart of Kuta” providing recreation, sport and entertainment.

We are trying to improve a concept of shopping while touring, to provide a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with a complete service and facility’s,” said Ari Daniel, Property Manage Istana Kuta Gallery.
Built on 9 hectares land, Istana Kuta Gallery has 250 stores that all-developed for business and commercial purposes. “Our stores provide a range of quality local and import products, and the price is relatively inexpensive,” Ari Daniel said.
The international standard shopping center supplies various products from the handicraft industry, fashion, a beauty salon, and household tools products.
 
Eat at the Side River
Since opening in October, Istana Kuta Gallery has prepared the Side River, a unique and interesting food corner. Visitors who want to enjoy the meal at block III Istana Kuta Gallery can pick a seat at the border river. Block III contains 14 restaurants, offering a variety of foods. “So the costumers just choose what they like, and enjoy the meal at the Side River,” said Ari.
The calm rice terrace panorama on the Badung River channel around greets the visitor when they enjoying their meal at night or at lunch. “This is one of our Kuta Gallery fascinations that we are offering to the public market through Side River, “ he said.
 Up until November, we have sold 80 % total from available ruko (storeroom). “The only obstacle is that some buyers still are cautious to open their business. They are still waiting for the situation to settle in order to run their business well without any security disturbance,” he said.
Many foreign products from England, Germany, Australia, Japanese and Brazil are housed in the storeroom. However, they have yet to open.
“Besides offering modern and high-quality facilities, Kuta Gallery is built on Balinese designs with Balinese architecture,” he said.
Of the 250 retail outlets, 75 are involved with electronics, including mobile phones and computers, 50 for fashion, 25 for food and beverages, and the rest are handicrafts of export quality.
To enliven and promote Kuta Gallery, management organizes events such as handicraft exhibitions, fashion bazaars, luxurious car exhibitions, and all receiving good consumer response.
This month, Kuta Gallery will feature an exhibition of Bali export products from 18 – 23 December, and Volkswagen’s car Jamboree, all Indonesia on 27 – 29 December. “We did this to avert the image that our place is only for the middle to upper class,” he said. (BTN/Poll)
