Although the rain interrupted it for a while, none of the visitors from the various regions, or even foreign tourists left their seats. They came to see the artists along with their attractions. The parade procession involved some two thousands artists, both domestic and overseas, presenting peed agung or a grand parade of Balinese traditional costume, umbrellas of grandeur, pennants and decorated vehicles with assorted flowers and animals.
More visitors than that of previous years witnessed this year’s parade, in addition to art troupes from several provinces in Indonesia.
