2nd Anniversary of Hotel Harris Tuban

TUBAN – The celebration of the second anniversary of Hotel Harris Tuban, on Tuesday (19/10) was held by carrying out several activities both inside and outside the hotel. internal or external hotel. Included was a visit to Miftahul Ulum and Al-Iman Orphanage, Pegayaman Village, Buleleng, followed by a Tuban Clean Up, visits to a customary village, administrative village and sub districts around Tuban and the Harris Golf Championship. Jeffrie Geovanie, President Director of Indonesia Paradise Property—Owners of Hotel Harris, said to Bali Travel News that the tourism condition in Indonesia, chiefly Bali, recently is becoming progressively stronger. “It can bee seen in terms of some indicators like the number of foreign visitors’ arrival’s to Bali that continues to increase, even though Indonesia was shaken again by bomb blast (in front of the Australian Embassy in Jakarta),” he said.
The celebrations were concluded with an Anniversary Party at Hotel Harris Tuban as seen in the picture. Harris Golf Championship was participated by top-level management and Director of Indonesian Paradise Propertyuies. Karina Osman the General Manager of Harris Tuban was accompanied by Harris’ crew and directors to cut the anniversary cake. (BTN/013)


National Seminar on the Election of Regional Leaders

DENPASAR—Bali Forum, a non-government organization of (NGO’s), non government organisatons, in Bali held a National Seminar themed “The Endeavor to Create Effective and Aspirational Election of Regional Leaders” taking place on Wednesday (27/10). The seminar at the Intan Room of Hotel Nikki presented some resource persons such as the Vice Governor of Bali Alit Kelakan, Vice Chairman of Central General Election Commission Mulyana W. Kusuma, Head of Bali Regional Police Agency deputized by Kombes Pol. Drs. Bastomy Sanap, SH, MBA, RI’s Member of Parliament Firman Djaelani and Coordinator of Legal Advocation Team for SBY-JK Bali, Pasek Suardika.
Executive Director of Bali Forum, Agung Lidartawan, STP, MP said that the seminar aimed at delivering preliminary understanding and socialization pertaining to Governmental Acts on Regional Administration No.32/2004. This act concerns with regulation in performing the election of regional government (regents and governors) that should be grasped by all parties so they will avoid conflict potential as the impact of regional government elections. “This should be anticipated, since we for the first time elect our regional government directly,” he said. Apart from providing various principal and other household needs, Hardy’s Sanur also supplies a wide range of choices for vegetables, meat, imported and local fresh fruit. Similarly, there is a bakery and ice creamery. Electronic goods are also available here. “All are provided at the cheapest price compared to other places. Definitely, their quality is guaranteed,” added Gede Suparwan.
In addition, Hardy’s also provides diverse fashion products, ranging from youngsters, casual, mothers, beach use, sport, gym of celebrated brands like Lea, Levi’s, Emba, Gabriel, Dadung, B-Gaya, Andrean or Polo, various stationeries, textbooks, magazines, local, national and overseas tabloids are available, too. “For children, Hardy’s arranges video and amusement games (Timezone). Books and toys are available at all branches except at Hardy’s Seririt and Panjer,” he stated further.
For consumer’s convenience and satisfaction there is the Hardy’s Club. It aims at extending direct prizes for Hardy’s Customer Card holders, in which every minimum purchase of Rp. 200,000 they are entitled to get one point towards a prize. “By obtaining a customer card,” according to Gede Suparwan,”they also obtain 5% discount for household utensils, 10% for baby accessories, towel, toys, stationery and 15% for handicraft and garment products.”
Year 2004 for Hardy’s is a year that is full of excellent achievements. It can be seen from the obsession of Gede Hardy, the owner, who intends to develop his business by opening 5 more new shops, namely in Karangasem (July), Sesetan (August), Banyuwangi in East Java (October) and Klungkung (next December). Year 2004 is also noted as a challenge since numerous political riots, violence and terrorist attack threatned the economy of Indonesia. “We surely believe that Hardy’s continues to expand to every nook and cranny of Bali,” said Gede again.
