Bali’s Speed Track Circuit

The Speed Track Circuit development is located at Kertha Lestari hamlet, Ungasan, South Kuta was commenced last August. Currently, it is completing its temple’s compound wall, surrounding wall of the track pad and leveling off of the land surface according to the Director of PT Bali International Circuit (BIC) dr. (MD) Bagus Darmayasa to Bali Travel News recently.

Except for being known for its cultural richness, Bali will also have new tourism attraction namely motorized sport infrastructure. The location used is an area that was previously used for limestone excavation, so this work need heavy equipment and it takes a long time. “I definitely assure this circuit development will be completed punctually,” he said.
Darmayasa who is also the Chairman of Bali Regional Office of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) added that the main investor for this development is Indarjanto from M3 Bengkel. They purely help the development of this circuit to support the tourism of Bali, especially for those who are interested in automotive field. “The tragedy of Kuta’s Bomb really drove the tourist’s visit to Bali to lower levels . For that reason, we would like to re-encourage the tourism sector through automotive activities,” he affirmed.
This young physician who is also very active in boxing and football expected that Bali’s Speed Circuit is not only used to perform motor races, go kart and drag bikes, but could also be used for car test-drives, skate boarding, driving license examination, private motor racing and a stage for traditional and national art shows. “If required, this could be used for an international class entertainment show,” he added laughably.

The Bali Dynasty Charity Effort entirely sponsors one of the schools which has ninety or so children giving them hope for the future through education for long term sustainability. A percentage of the “sweeps” went to this good cause and over Rp3,600,000 was raised.
Due to the resounding success and enthusiasm from locals, local expatriates and hotel guests and for those who can’t wait another year, Gracie’s will soon be introducing monthly “Irish Cup” horse racing nights to raise even more money for the needy kids.
Gracie Kelly’s is located at the Bali Dynasty Resort and is becoming an increasingly popular venue with live music seven nights a week and big screen sporting events as well as pool tables and darts.
