Alam
KulKul Boutique & Resort: Ubud
in Legian
Most
probably by now you are aware of the hustle
and bustle of Kuta, either at noon or night.
Kuta is a prominent tourist resort that
is famous for its nightlife, and the heart
of Bali tourism. The name of Kuta has been
recognized worldwide,Your holiday
is not complete if you do not make time
to enjoy sunbathing at Kuta Beach whilst
on vacation here in Bali. Its panorama and
white sandy beach tempted us, said
Benita Kovic, an Australian visitor, who
was met by Bali Travel News whilst being
absorbed in sunbathing.
Kuta
and its vicinitys nightlife always
attracts local residents. Many visitors
choose Kuta as their destination, the more
so for Australians. They consider Bali as
their second home.
Faisol Hashim knows well how busy Kuta can
be, and would like to offer serenity to
his visitors by establishing the Alam KulKul
Boutique & Resort. This owner would
like to present a natural ambience of a
Boutique & Resort in the midst of Kuta.
Alam KulKul Boutique & Resort was established
in Kuta to satisfy foreign visitors
thirst for a shady, comfortable and peaceful
atmosphere of nature. The concept
of harmony with nature is offered by Faisol
Hashim to the market, and coincidentally
creating the image that in Kuta and Legian
there is still sheltered space, said
Aru Santiran, General Manager of Alam KulKul
Boutique & Resort.
This resort was established in 1989 with
a 77 room capacity. Ten years later, the
owner renovated the entire resort. In October
2000, it was re-operated with a total of
88 rooms. Various room categories are on
offer such as the Alam Room (32), Family
Room (6), Quad (6) and Triple (6). In addition,
there are some villas that are specially
designed for guests who intend to spend
their holidays with their families, namely
one Bali Villa, 2 Jawa Villas and 20 Alam
Villas. Other facilities is a meeting room,
restaurant, spa, gymnasium and 2 swimming
pools that are not away from the villas.
The swimming pool is not far from the hotel
and villa buildings thoroughly enable children
and their parents to join in the same pool
that is adorned with various plants and
fresh fruit. All elements at Alam
KulKul are designed by putting priority
on the concept of harmony with nature. Guests,
particularly the European market, best favor
this concept. They are very happy in picking
fresh fruit directly, said Faisol
Hashim on accompanying Bali Travel News
to enjoy fresh fruit in the hotel area.
The concept of villas and its landscape
are designed in such a way so that its atmosphere
is genuinely felt as in Ubud. Even Japanese
and European visitors call Alam KulKul identical
to that of Ubud, an ever-fresh mountain
nature with verdant trees.
Such comments are not so excessive as nearly
100 kinds of plants are bordered in the
area of Alam KulKul. Many plants like bananas,
mangos, papayas, grapes and water apple
have started to bear fruit. If in
Ubud, its naturally cool and cold. But,
in Kuta and Legian, chiefly at Alam KulKul,
the atmosphere is engineered by planting
several plants, so freshness and peacefulness
will be felt, said Faisol who also
owns Papas Café.
Market
and Rate
Since it was opened, Japanese visitors occupied
the first guest position at some 40%, then
followed by Australian (40%), European (2%)
and the rest are from other countries. To
attract visitors, his party continuously
carries out promotion and road shows to
countries mentioned above.
According to the Executive Assistant Manager
of Alam KulKul, Hery Andysar, his party
is not hesitating to finance overseas travel
agents and wholesalers to perform an inspection
to Bali. Since all products of Alam
KulKul have boutique & resort nuance,
so we also offer boutique and resort rates,
said the man who has worked for 15 years
at Alam KulKul.
Other things that make them highly impressed
is Alam KulKul safety and security. The
hotel performs security checks intensively
with Balinese hospitality, and there are
even guests who ask to examine themselves
in advance before entering the hotel. Some
85% of guests comment says that all
staff at Alam KulKul are friendly. Hence,
it is not hard for our staff to promote
the product and services of Alam KulKul,
said Hery.
