Manca Cake

At a glance, this cake resembles a cylinder scattered with crispy rice in various colors that resemble sesame seed. It is not hard, but rubbery and has a hollow space inside, just like foam. The cake is made of white sticky rice and palm sugar called manca cake.
Unfortunately, this distinctive cake can not be found easily. But to make it easy to obtain, just ask a merchant of Balinese traditional cakes anywhere throughout the island. Why? Because Manca cake is mostly intended as ingredients of offerings. In addition, this cake is usually made commercially by the home industry. Personal households seldom makes them.
