Not Just a Komodo
Most people think
the only attraction in Komodo National Park
is the giant lizard, but after this educational
tour, we found many other interesting tourism
attractions, like Gua Batu Cermin, a cave
full with jewels on it’s walls. To
see the shiver of jewels, you must use a
light to penetrate the small alleys, you
will also see turtle and snake fossils on
the cave’s ceiling. The cave is a perfect
site for meditation, only 5 Km distance
from Labuan Bajo or 1 hour journey from
Komodo Island.

this by saying there are many more tourism
attractions like Gua Batu Cermin, coral
reef spreading within the small islands,
Sano Nggoang Lake which is the biggest lake
in Eastern Indonesia, petrified wood fossil,
two water falls, buffalo-horns rock, and
also plantation potency, fishery, and other
agricultural objects.
Head of Marketing and Services Sector of
Komodo National Park, Oman Rohman said,
Komodo National Park was famously known
as a unique tourism destination in the world.
Observation research showed, there were
260 coral species spread along Komodo National
Park, 70 species of flower reefs, 2.000
species of fish, 15 species of dolphins,
5 species of whales, 2 species of turtles
and 100 locations for diving. “This
will definitely be attracting if it’s
promoted throughout Bali,” he said.
