The Presentation of K Nadha Awards 2005

DENPASAR—Ten figures that rendered great merit in sustaining Bali received K. Nadha Press Award 2005 at K. Nada Bali Press Building on last Wednesday (5/1). The ten awards were presented by Bali’s Provincial Secretary, Drs. Nyoman Yasa, MSi., representing the Governor of Bali to the National Hero I Gusti Ngurah Rai received by his grandson, I Gusti Ketut Pudja, Ida Bagus Putra Manuaba, Ida Bagus Gede Dosther, Ida Bagus Tugur, I Wayan Dalun, I Wayan Beneh, Anak Agung Made Cakra, Romo Nobert Antonious Shadeg and I Gusti Ketut Gede. Apart from presenting the K Nadha Award, a further sustainable award was presented to five teachers of elementary school level, five teachers of secondary and 5 teachers of senior high school level by the Chief of the IX Udayana Military Commander Major General TNI Supiadin AS. Seminar at STIMI Denpasar

DENPASAR – About 300 people consisting of public, high school students, college students and lecturers followed a day seminar at STIMI Denpasar Hall, last Wednesday (12/1). The seminar carried the theme “Opportunity on Work-field Contribution in Autonomic Territory Enthusiasm” and attended by the Student Senate of STIMI Handayani Denpasar. Speakers attending were I.BG. Suryatmaja, M., associate official of Bali Provincial Council, Ir. Nengah Suadja, Msi, associate official from Bali Provincial Researcher Board and I.B. Radendra S, SH. MH2, lecture of STIMI Handayani. The evaluator was the Student Senate of STIMI Handayani Denpasar. (BTN/015)

 

Honesty Award for Hard Rock Hotel Staff

KUTA – Jamal Hussain, Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Bali presented Mr. Budi Kosanto a Housekeeping trainee, with an honesty award and gift due to his action in returning a guest’s valuables. Budi was working in the public area when he saw that a guest had left behind a wallet on the sofa in the reception area. He immediately contacted his supervisor to send the missing wallet to the Lost & Found section. A few minutes after reporting the case, the guest called to the front desk and claimed that she had lost her wallet. Soon the missing wallet was returned to the owner. ”Hard Rock Hotel Bali always recognizes such acts of honesty and commitment”, commented Jamal Hussain, General Manager. Balinese Flower Arrangement Lesson

TANJUNG BENOA - To introduce Balinese floral art, Bali Tropic Resort & Spa held a program called “Balinese Flower Arrangement Lessons” for resort guests.
