kept it in row for three years 2000,

receives 2 trophies gold and emerald
as well appreciated as the first
receiver for emerald trophy in Bali.
Emerald trophy can only awarded if a hotel

Matahari Beach established in 1992 on a
local personal-owned land width of 16 ha
which been bought become company land as
it noted according to official regulation
and local custom. In dividing it area, Matahari
Beach combined the modern and traditional
Hindu architecture concept tri mandala and
sanga mendala tri (three), sanga
(nine), mandala (space/division)
which spends 60% for occupying zone and
40% for non-occupying zone. Tri mandala
means three spaces concept, whilst sanga
mandala means the nine spaces concept.
These concepts of tri and sanga mandala
are the descend concept of luan-teben (sacral-profane).
Tri Mandala consists of (1) utama mandala
(the most inner/sacral division), (2) madya
mandala (center division), and (3) nista
mandala (outer/the most profane division).
Each division/mandala within tri mandala
concept can be divided into three each,
so it become nine divisions, which called
sanga mandala, there are (1.1) utamaning
utama mandala, (1.2) madyaning utama, (1.3)
nistaning utama; (2.1) utaning madya mandala,
(2.2) madyaning madya, (2.3) nistaning madya,
(3.1) utaning nista mandala, (3.2) madyaning
nista, (3.3) nistaning nista.
The most sacral area (utama mandala), commonly,
in portion for sacred/holy space (shrine
for Hindus member); center division (madya
mandala) for occupying zone; and the most
profane (nista mandala) is for open-green
space/ place for animal and its kind. Sacred
site/shrine or temple for Hindu community
is one supporting media for transforming/gatra
parhyangan (spiritual environment) which
in cultural system can be analogized as
the subsystem of value/concept/pattern of
thinking.
What is mean by parhyangan of hotel, for
example, is the element of atman/soul or
the living zest of human who organized the
hotel, costumer, supplier, and competitor,
which come from God/Paramatman, and lay
down on hotels shrine. So, parhyangan
is not a shrine physical construction, but
the atman which come from Paramatman and
sited on the lay inside the shrine. Pawongan
is the element of human who organized the
hotel (owner, management, and employee),
costumer, supplier, and competitor
not the hotels construction. The aspect
of palemahan is the sarira element, which
includes hotels entire area (land,
building, plants, animals, media/any physical
tools).
Within space division and arrangement of
hotels territorial based on the concept
of sanga mandala, it was signaled that 1/9
(one per nine) for sacred zone (SZ); 5/9
(five per nine) for occupied zone/construction
zone (OZ); and the rest 3/9 (three per nine)
for open-green space (OGS). This rule seemly
runs in consistency at Matahari Beach which
starts operated with soft opening predicate
on 12 June 1995 and the grand opening held
on 31 August 1995, as well as the anniversary
of Matahari Beach Resort & Spa.
