Tourism Agriculture in Bali

Tourism agriculture in Bali commonly done in Pulukan Plantation, is about 70 Km from Denpasar to the west. By this tourist attraction you could show the Balinese activities in using their farm, everlasting the environment and appease their life.

The tourist attraction of Pulukan spread along Pekutatan village until Pangyangan village. The location it self, is about 1.265.634 hectare and about 27 M up to 300 M above sea level in high. It was built since 1917, during the colonialism era by the German’s businessman. In 1942 the owner had changed continually and in 1981 it was replaced by Bali’s Government, and than organized by Bali’s Local Enterprise. Here the visitor can do several activities such as tracking, tour by vehicles likes Jeep, VW or Colt Mitsubishi. The trip takes about 1 up to 10 hours (full day tour). During the tracking, the visitor could show various plantation’s plants and also wild plants, which grow well there. And also plants’ breeding likes coconut, vanilla, cocoa, coffee, clove, Nephelium Lappaceum, Durio Zibethinus, citrus maxima, mango and many other. Not only plants you can enjoy here but also several wild animals, people houses in the garden, the activities of farmer, etc. The historical remaining of the plantation could find here. Along the tracking route you will be served with young coconut water, which able to eat with its fruit’s flesh, and have lunch at plantation. About 300 meters above sea level in high you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of Hindia Ocean to the Southern. Enter to the plantation; you will pay pass ticket Rp. 15.000 per person, Rp. 2.500 per young coconut for consumption, and Rp. 25.000 buffet lunch per person.
