Indonesian Attorney General
Disappointed 20 Years Sentence is Too Light
for Corby
The
Indonesian Attorney General Abdul Rahman
Saleh was disappointed because verdict of
Denpasar District Court for Schapelle Leight
Corby was only 20 years. Its
too light, whereas the crime carried out
by Corby is extremely serious, said
Rahman Saleh recently in Jakarta while putting
into question, what if the evidence
in the form of 4.2 kg marijuana got through
and was traded in Indonesia, automatically
the young generation would be damaged. Therefore,
Corby is worth life imprisonment. On the
same occasion, the Head of Legal Information
Center of the Attorney General Suhandoyo
said that application for a judicial examination
was an attempt to anticipate the next legal
process.
