American
Express Launches Ultimately Bali
Repeating
the accomplishment of Ultimately
Bali program two years ago, American
Express for the third time resumed to
offer a series of programs to attract
the interest of travelers to visit Bali
and enjoy their holiday. Country Manager
of American Express for Indonesia, Sylvia-Marie
Challita launched the campaign of Ultimately
Bali 2005 on Friday (10/6) at GWK
Jimbaran.
It
was added that over 100 merchants participated
in the program, including hotels, restaurants,
art galleries, boutiques, recreation centers
and fitness centers in Bali. By these
merchants, this program is the biggest in
terms of product range. Ultimately
Bali is also the one and only card
program endorsed by Bali Government Tourist
Office and Bali Tourism Board, she
said.
This program is specially designed in order
that guests can enjoy extravagant holidays
during their stay in Bali. Since this program
was launched in 2003 and 2004 merchants
of American Express in Bali obtained considerable
growth in their business turnover amounting
to 59% and transactions increased 46%.
As a front line company, American Express
in Indonesia supports Bali tourism. We
are aware, Bali is the main tourist destination
in the world and we make an effort in order
that American Express card-members that
visit Bali will continue to increase,
she explained.
Peter Kapoor, Regional Vice President Global
Network Establishment Service Indonesia/Singapore/Malaysia
of American Express added that as a global
company, American Express has a capacity
to promote tourist destinations for its
card-members. American Express will also
assist to promote a special offer in Bali
to its card-members and travel customers
in Asia-Pacific region, including Japan,
Korea, Australia, Singapore and Hongkong.
We do the same thing at home, to card-members
in Indonesia as well, he emphasized.
This Ultimately Bali 2005 campaign
takes advantage of any communication channels
in order it can reach card-member affiliates
in this region. American Express will distribute
Bali Travel Wallets (travel information
guide) to local and international visitors
that come to Bali. The Bali Travel Wallet
is also available at Ngurah Rai Airport,
Denpasar.
