Therapeutic Remedies

You feel frazzled, stressed, you have headaches, backaches, you’ve injured yourself in some physical activity or you’re just generally out of sorts. You’re also in Bali. Now what can you do and where can you go for the remedy and relief? .

Nestled amongst the Banyan trees on the tranquil southern side of Sanur, on Sanur walk near the beach you will find Bali Healing Myst, a clinic offering an extensive range of treatments traditional and holistic, for mind, body and spirit. Holistic remedies include Reiki, a kind of “spiritual massage” and crystal balancing. An appointment is necessary.
Bali Healing Myst specialist in Lymphatic and Sport Injuries, Muscle Therapy, Relaxation and Stress massage, Reflexology and Spiritual Healing.
The dictionary defines therapeutic as “of or for or tending to the cure of disease; curative branch of medicine”. At Bali Healing Myst therapeutic is interpreted as: to make well, to be beneficial to your health and well-being, not just physically but also mentally and spiritually. To this aim the staff is committed.
Trained by an Australian Reflexologist and Myotheraphist specializing in Sciatica and soft tissue injuries, the very friendly staff are professional and speak English. Even before entering the premises of Bali Healing Myst clients will find a beautiful fountain filled with goldfish. Step inside and fell instantly calmed as you notice the cool green painted walls, the pleasant aroma and the gentle music playing softly. Clients will be greeted warmly and offered a full range of treatments from the traditional to the modern. The Traditional Balinese massage relieves stress, the Aromatic massage relaxes and calms the inner and outer being and the Reflexology massage offered at Bali Healing Myst is very different from any other reflexology massage because it is combined with shiatsu, lymph drainage and Lomi-lomi to eliminate internal organ problems and to detoxify the system. Reflexology here is not just a foot massage. However, massage does begin with the feet in order to identify any blockage in the system, and then gradually the whole body is given a deep tissue massage using trigger points where necessary and plying special attention to problematic areas until the pain is relieved or disappears completely. The duration is one hour. No appointment is necessary.
If clients choose Reflexology, they can be assured of a serious consultation and diagnosis. Clients should be aware if choosing Reflexology that no food or alcohols should be consumed for at least two hours before the massage treatment because the stomach must be empty to allow toxins to be released and eliminated. When the massage is completed it is very important to drink about two liters of tepid water to help flush the system of toxins.
All Bali Healing Myst treatments are great value at very affordable prices. Bali Healing Myst is located between the Puri Santrian and Sanur Hotels and can be contacted on 081 338 685 105 or 081 856 1026. (BTN/Penny McCarthy)
