Hilton International has re-launched its
Lagoona Restaurant as an eclectic Asian
concept. Featuring dishes from Thailand,
Vietnam, Indonesia and India the restaurant
is designed to cater to the ever-growing
popularity of Asian cuisines.
Executive Chef Ketut Sukamara spent several
weeks in Bangkok researching Thai Cuisine
and getting better acquainted with Thai
as well as Vietnamese cooking methods prior
to designing the menu. Changes to the kitchen
layout include the introduction of an Indian
tandoori oven to produce authentic Indian
dishes, a specialty of the new concept,
while a recent Indian food promotion allowed
the kitchen staff to hone their Indian cooking
skills.
Lagoona Restaurant is situated in a beachside
and features both an outside al fresco terrace
dinning area as well as an indoor air-conditioned
