Yoga
Exercise in Bali
Perhaps,
you have joined a Yoga Club in your home
country and are now spending a holiday in
Bali. Or do you wish to learn about yoga
during your holiday in Bali? Assuredly,
it would not be a deliberate exaggeration
if said that Bali has some yoga centers.
They spread out at some places, chiefly
at tourist resorts all over Bali. Just ask
for information to your tour guide or tour
leader about yoga facilities in Bali.
One of the yoga centers in Bali is at the
Indian Cultural Center (JNICC Embassy of
India, Jakarta) at 42-44 Jalan Raya Puputan
Renon, Denpasar, telephone (0361) 241978.
This ICC is indeed opened as inauguration
and dedication to the people of Bali, Indonesia.
But you also still have a chance to join
for releasing the tension of your muscles
by exercising yoga with gurus from India.
ICC has yoga instructors that are directly
from the country where yoga originates,
India. There are also some Balinese instructors
that have been trained for more than 5 years.
They are delighted to welcome your visit.
Regular exercise usually takes place twice
a week (on Wednesdays and Thursdays), around
17.00-18.00 Local Time. Participants are
commonly the Balinese that turn to like
yoga as their daily sport. While for private
exercise, its schedule can be adapted to
your spare time by making a direct contact
to the ICC Denpasar.
Yoga exercise at ICC consists of levels,
ranging from beginner, intermediate to advanced.
It will be certainly adjusted to your
capacity, said Dedy, an instructor
from Bali who has learned yoga since 1998.
