One-Stop-Shopping Complex
Numerous
shopping centres and malls or plazas along
with a variety of concepts and marketing
strategies are progressively mushrooming.
Communitys perspective towards malls
and plazas gets down to change. Previously,
mall-plazas frequently considered being
a paradise of shopping, but now they have
become pattern and lifestyle of urbanists.

different sizes and extent. Amongst the
120 house-shops, Centro Department Store
& Electronic City is the largest tenant,
while Club Store Supermarket is the pioneer
at DSM. Both are the tenant anchors

that Gramedia and Food Court are also major
tenants that are moderately taken into consideration.

Arya Adhidarmawan, S.E., Branch Manager
of Electronic City says that market segment
of his company is indeed high class since
Electronic City constitutes an Electronic
Hyper Market and is the only one in Bali.
We are the only one that have shop
with trade fair concept, says Arya
while adding that nearly all worlds
leading electronic brands are displayed
at his shop like Plasma, LCD, Sony, Pioneer,
LG, Toshiba, Panasonic and so on. Their
price is competitive so many consumers prefer
our products, says Arya.
Doing shopping at Electronic City indeed
has many added values. Payment by credit
card is without charge and the most interesting
is free insurance guarantee (fire, flood
and lightning) and 14 days merchandising
back guarantee.
According to Arya, most customers are tourists
that buy electronic products like handycams,
digital cameras, Walkmans and pocket cameras.
In their opinion, products of the same brand
is cheaper in Indonesia than in their home
country. Almost 80% of customers that do
shopping at Electronic City are tourists
and expatriates that domicile in Bali.
DSM is the largest and most complete One-Stop-Shopping
concept in Bali. And, its the only
Mall or Plaza that has oceanfront views.
