The New Administrator of PWI Bali
 DENPASAR
– The new administrator of
the Indonesian Journalist Unity
(PWI) Bali period 2005-2009 was
inaugurated by The General Chairman
of PWI Drs. Tarman Azzam, on Tuesday
(30/8) at Kertha Saba, Denpasar.
Its new administrator, Djesna Winada
was elected as Chairman and Made
Nariana as District Honorary Council
(DKD) PWI Bali. Present at its inauguration
are Bali’s Governor, Dewa Beratha,
The Head of Bali Police Mangku Pastika,
Badung Region A.A. Agung Gede Agung,
Head of Denpasar City A.A. Puspayoga,
Penglingsir Bali Post Group Desak
Gede Raka Nadha and General Manager
of Bali Post Group Satria Naradha.

Launching
 DENPASAR
– The Bali Purnati Center For
The Arts are launching a new book
about beautiful places and histories
in Bali. The Book is entitled “Sanur,
The Birthplace of Bali Style”
is the first book that especially
discusses Sanur’s beauty. The
book was officially lunched at a
press conference on Sunday (4/9)
at Griya Gede Keniten, Sanur.

Design
Competition
 NUSA
DUA – After fist step selection,
participants of the design competition
“The Garden of Hope: Love,
Peace and Harmony” elected
five teams that competed in in second
phaze. The second selection was
on Thursday (8/9) at Wantilan BTDC
(Bali Tourism Development Corporation),
Nusa Dua. Its fifth team likes Anggrek
Bulan Unggu from Bandung, Kenanga
Kantil Mawar/Kembang Telon (Surabaya),
Johannesteijsmania Altifrons (Bogor),
Pesona Rona Cempaka (Jakarta), and
Wijaya Kusuma Putih (Bandung). The
winner of the competition was the
Anggrek Bulan Unggu (Bandung) team
with prize money of Rp 75.000.000.

of Pilkada (The election), Environmental
Parliament Watch, and The Leader of
environment vision” was held
by the Life Environment Department
on Tuesday (6/9) at Renon Denpasar.
The Seminar discussed topics like
“Regency Development and District
Head Election”, “Democracy,
in Pilkada (the election) to Development
of Environment visions”, “Political
and Environment Ethics”, “Typology
is a Decision Process, Raise THK Awards
to Global Level” and “Parts
of Environment Caucus in Implementation
of District Environment Processes”.

Governor Meets THK
Team
 DENPASAR
– The team of Tri Hita Karana
(THK) Tourism Awards & Accreditations
received Bali’s Governor, Dewa
Beratha at his offices in Renon
Denpasar, on Wednesday (7/9). The
team was headed by the chairman
of THK Award and General Manager
Bali Travel News Beratha Ashrama
and discussed the program of the
THK Tourism Awards estimations of
hotel and tourism objects planned
for the end of September, with awards
given in the beginning of December.
