Queen’s Tandoor Indian Cuisine
Oldest and Biggest in Indonesia

There are many Indian Cuisines in Indonesia, but to have Indian original quality taste can only be found at “Queen’s Tandoor” Indian Cuisine. 40 artists from Jakarta, Parsi (Indonesian Artist Community) that was Chaired by Anwar Fuady joined in the dinner, on Friday (13/10) at “Queen’s Tandoor” Indian Cuisine, Kuta accompanied by Nelta Malhotra Shanker, Producer of Indika Entertainment.
Meeting with Bali Travel News at the dinner, Punnet Malhotra, The Manager of “Queen’s Tandoor” Bali who is also the younger brother Nelta Malhora Shanker said, they come with sympathy and to pray for victims of Bali Bomb Blast II. “They set aside time for to taste Indian cuisine in Bali,” said Punnet.
The name “Queen’s Tandoor” is a name associated with discerning consumers for Tandoor for the past 18 years in Indonesia and abroad. “It made its modest start with only Chinese cuisine in 1986 in Jakarta. The brand name “Queen’s Tandoor” was introduced during the 1980’s and never looked back and ventured first major step in this direction by opening up a big Indian & Chinese cuisine restaurant on 18th April 1986 at Veteran, the main commercial center in Jakarta”, he added.
Encouraged by tremendous response from consumers “Queen’s Tandoor” decided to expand with the opening of “Jewel of India” on (11th May 1994) at Kemang, Jakarta and then moved to the Ambhara Hotel, Jakarta on (2nd July 1999). After positive response in Central & South Jakarta from esteemed guests, “Queen’s Of India” was opened on 25th April 2003 in North Jakarta at the Danau Sunter Hotel. For more than 18 years “Queen’s” restaurant has been operating in Jakarta, and since December 2004 the opening of their fourth branch in Kuta. The Bali branch of “Queen’s” also supported by Mr Ramesh who came from the city of Hyderabad (Sindh). “We joined with Mr Ramesh, because he has a branch in Bali,” said Mr. Puneet Malhotra who has a 3 Year Degree in Hotel Management from India.
