Waiter’s Fun Run

If you do a vacation in Bali especially in Kuta you will never feel bored because you can see many attractions. On Sunday (25/9) was held Bali waiters fun run. Three hundred seven waiters and waitress joint to the competition to showed their abilities and skillfulness. The participants brought bottles and glasses on the try.

The competition took place along Kuta Beach Street, around 3 Km with the purpose to find out qualifier waiter’s and waitressess. The winner categories in this competition are the participants who can hold up bottles and glasses on the tray without it spilling from the bottle.
The event was organized by Food and Beverage Management Association (FBMA) Bali as an effort to develop waiter’s ability and also as a medium to promote tourism. The total reward given to them was Rp.15 million, the distribution was first, second and third winners receiving Rp.4,5 million, Rp 2 million, and Rp.1 million respectively for both male and female categories
According to the head of FBMA Bali, Aries Hendra Wardhana, his side felt satisfied with the number of participants, so it can be recorded in the MURI (Indonesian Record Museum). “The same event has been done in Yogyakarta with the number of participants amounting to 258, around 2 Km” he said.
