7 Years of Bali Travel News
The
bi-weekly tabloid Bali Travel News
was established on Friday, 4 December 1998.
It has aim as a tabloid for foreigners who
do vacations in Bali. On the other hand
for tourists who are not in Bali, Bali Travel
News can be accessed through web site: www.bali-travelnews.com.
Remember there is line mark (-) after word
Bali.
The editorial that we provide usually refers
to Balinese Calendar describing
about Balinese activities in Bali, which
are connected with Hindu religious ceremonies.
We have been running these stories for the
past 7 years and we will continue to publish
these articles
As a tourism medium, Bali Travel News is
very depend on the tourism industry. For
example when the Bali bombing tragedy happened
on the 12 October 2002 and the second bombing
(1 October 2005), it was terrible
shock for Bali Travel News. Even the
page numbers of Bali Travel News are continually
increasing. In the beginning the tabloid
just consisted of 12 pages, but in it 7th
year to become 28 pages.
Painting Exhibition
The painting exhibition of Gallery VII Bali
Travel News will take place at Hotel
Bali Tropic Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua.
The exhibition will be held for a month
from 4 December 2005 to 4 January 2006.

100 Million for Security
BADUNG-
The Regent of Badung AAGede Agung, Tuesday
(25/10) has given a donation Rp.100 million
to support officer duties to escort Balis
security especially in Badung Regency, the
donation was received by the Head of Balis
Police Irjen Pol.Mangku Pastika and it will
be distributed to Poltabes Denpasar (Denpasar
Police Office) Rp 140.400.000 and Polres
Badung (Badung Police Resort) Rp 86.400.000.
The activity was attended by Bali
s Tourist components likes Air Paradise,
Bali Hotel Association (BHA), the Head of
DPRD Badung, and the other state officers.
The Regent said his side has tried to recover
the security in Badung Regency including
Kuta and Jimbaran.
The head of Balis police Made Mangku
Pastika explained that he is correcting
Balis security system. But the
part of local people is very important to
secure their region respectively.
