The
RitzCarlton Bali Resort & Spa
International Recognition
Twelve Butlers of The Ritz-Carlton Bali
Resort & Spa are the first Butlers in
Bali to successfully achieve the internationally
recognized Magnums Butlers Certification
and are now proudly distinguished by the
special Magnums Butlers pins displayed on
their lapels.
After an intensive training course conducted
last year, The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort
& Spa Butlers were monitored for a period
of six months prior to their final assessment
last month. The assessment included a three
day evaluation by Magnums founder and celebrated
Butler trainer Ms. Josephine Ive, and Ms.
Najwa Green of PT Elan Hospitality Training
who worked closely with the Butlers during
this time.
Part of the evaluation included close monitoring
of day-to-day Butler tasks, first-hand demonstrations
such as table settings and service, a written
test and walk-along reviews with guests.
The resorts top butler, Mangku, was awarded
a Gold Achievement certificate and pin for
his superior service while eleven other
Resort butlers walked away with Silver and
Bronze Achievement certificates and special
pins. The Magnums Butler pin is recognized
by discerning travelers worldwide, rather
similar to the Les Clefs dOr pin of
gold keys awarded to concierges, said
the resorts Executive Assistant Manager
of Rooms, Christopher Clark, The Ritz-Carlton,
Bali Resort & Spa is truly honored to
have twelve of its Butlers recognized by
such a prestigious worldwide organization
as Magnums. (BTN/*)
