Luncheon Break

BADUNG—Several Consuls of associate countries in Bali held a luncheon in Kuta, Friday (28/10). The happening that was attended by the Badung Regent, Anak Agung Gede Agung. On that occasion, the Honorary Consul of Germany in Bali, R. Jantzen expected that the government will keep on making security efforts in an integrated pattern and system that was performed sustainably. In the meantime, the regent also explained to the consuls about the efforts carried out by the government of Badung Regency to improve security in his territory. (BTN/015)

Knowledge on Bomb Detection

BADUNG—To prevent the terror of bombs, the civil service police are supplied with the knowledge on how to detect and anticipate an explosive or bomb. They were trained at Wantilan Hall of the Office of Badung Regent in Sempidi, Monday (31/10) with the subject on the method of detecting the explosives or bombs, bomb terror, anticipating bomb terror and a series of action taken when facing a real bomb terror. This training was provided by Mass Control Division of Denpasar Police Department, I Made Suandi assisted by two members of his team. (BTN/015)

 

IJUMPI Culinary Challenge 2005

NUSA DUA SELATAN - Nikko Bali Resort & Spa is proud to announce that its Kitchen Team won 1 Gold, 6 silvers and 3 bronzes medal during the recent competition, ‘IJUMPI Culinary Challenge 2005’ which was organized by IJUMPI (Association of Indonesia Chef Professionals) on 20 - 22 October 2005 at Central Parkir Kuta. Kitchen Team of Nikko Bali Resort & Spa competed with around 230 participants from hotels and restaurants industry from Bali, Lombok and Java. 7 Years of Weekly “Tokoh” Tabloid

DENPASAR- In conjuction with the 7 years of the Tokoh newspaper, Wednesday (9/11), was celebrated by the cuting of rice shaped into a cone by Ibu Desak Gde Raka Nadha and attended by staff and management of Bali Post Medium Group. This event taken place at Ketut Nada Pers Building and started by do the homeage together. (BTN/015)

Blood Donation

NUSA DUA SELATAN - Nikko Bali Resort & Spa has collected 30 bags of blood from its staff on Wednesday (10/8). Blood donation is an annual program of Nikko Bali Resort & Spa in conjunction of Indonesia Independence Day, 17th August as well as a contribution of Tri Hita Karana program. This program started at 9:00 am and finished at 1:00 pm, conducted by Human Resource Department and Indonesian Red Cross Team from Sanglah Hospital. (BTN/*)
