Marine Tours Still Become
Discourse
DENPASAR
Recently marine tours are still
popular, because the infrastructure is not
complicated yet by the government, Bali
hasnt a regional regulation about
marine tours said Ir. Yos Wk. Amerta,
the head of DPD Gahawisri (the Association
of Marine Tour Businessmen) Bali to Bali
Travel News on the opening ceremony Pra
Musda (Pre-Regional meeting) DPD Gahawisri,
Tuesday (25/10).
Pra Musda is followed by all organizers
of DPD Bali from 125 companies that are
active in diving, water sport and the other
marine tour business. After Pra Musda, in
December will be held Musda (Regional meeting)
at the same time will also hold the selecting
of new organizers.
According to Yos there are three-problems
faced by Gahawisri Bali recently. Firstly
the regional government hasnt yet
given clear regional regulation (Perda)
about Marine Tours, resulting in members
of this association finding it difficult
to get a license to develop their business.
Second, the government hasnt yet provided
the infrastructure to support the business.
For example when we need direction its
difficult to find out from BBM as there
is no available petrol station near with
the coast, on the other hand the government
is prohibiting buying BBM by jerigen (container
for petrol, oil, etc. made from metal or
plastic) because its considered illegal,
the situation makes members confused,
he explained.
Thirdly there is no credit from Banks which
develop marine tour businesses, and it makes
it difficult for businessmen to develop
their business. (BTN/Para)
