Celebration in Bali
Every
25 December, Christians all over the world
celebrate Christmas. As a general rule,
this festivity is graced with red-white
colour nuance and embellished with varied
ornaments like Christmas trees along with
its bells and other decorations of beauty.
Exuberance in welcoming Christmas this year
remains to be held at several public places
like malls, shop, office complex and hotels
across Bali despite the fact that tourism
is facing a slow-moving condition.
Entrepreneurs who work in the hotel business
in Bali mainly feel less optimistic to sell
their Christmas package that has been prepared.
However, they look busy drawing up Christmas
parties by highlighting their superiority
and specialty of each hotel.
The Westin Resort, for instance in Nusa
Dua welcomes Christmas by series of activities
conducted on 24-25 December. Amongst them
is Christmas Eve Reception with cocktails
and delicious canapés. A number of
songs by a children chorus and excellent
presentation of Santa Claus will jazz up
the function. Christmas Eve Dinner held
at Ikan Restaurant that is nestled at the
fringe of the beach. Then, Christmas Eve
by the Water that is cheered up by the wonderful
pageant of a magicians provides a buffet
table menu. Ultimately, the main function
is Christmas Day with “Westin Kids
Only” Party in the morning and “White
Sandy Christmas” Beach Barbeque Dinner
in the evening.
Bali Hilton International, one day before
Christmas (24/12) conducts three happenings
almost concurrently. They are Christmas
Eve Festivities at Waterfall Restaurant;
Christmas Carols graced with the presentation
of Santa Claus and Celebrate Christmas Eve
the Asian Style at Lagoon Restaurant. Christmas
Day Festivities is the central of the Christmas
exuberance. For children, the committee
provides Kids Christmas Games is organized
by Wayan-Made Kids Club.
Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Bali puts
on several activities like colouring competitions,
chorus performances and appearance of Santa
Claus. Ramada Bintang Bali Resort also stages
art and local music performance. At the
same time, other star hotels in the BTDC
area like Nusa Dua Beach Hotel organizes
Tropical Christmas Party Buffet Dinner.
Nikko Bali Resort & Spa holds a function
on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day serving
