Interviewed for PR Sympathetic Awards

BADUNG – Seven nominators of the PR Sympathetic 2005 version of Bali Travel News were assessed by a jury team, from the Tri Hita Karana assessment Team (Parhyangan, Palemahan, Pawongan), The Faculty of Communications, Dwijendra University and the former Sympathetic PR at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel. The assessment was held at BTDC Hall, Nusa Dua, on Monday (28/11). From 9 candidates, 7 have attended and are ready to be interviewed, they are: Eddy Soetjahyo (Bali Tropic Resort & Spa); Ayu Martiasih (Maya Ubud Resort); Elly Widiastuti (Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel); Ruth Zukerman (Conrad Hotel); Fretty W. Zahfitri (Nikko Bali Resort & Spa); Evy Suryaningsih (Melia Bali Villas & Spa Resort) and Marsha Aryani (Bali Hilton Hotel International). (BTN/015)

”Bali for Peace” Classical Concert

SANUR – The Primavera Event & Entertainment Organizer in cooperation with Mercure Resort Sanur presented a concert titled “Bali for Peace featuring both classical and Neapolitan”, Friday (3/12) at the Mercure Resort Sanur. It was a donation concert for the second Bali Bombing at Kuta and Jimbaran and donations will be distributed through “Yayasan Kemanusian Ibu Pertiwi” (YKIB). Singers participating in this concern are Diani R. Sitompul (Soprano) from Jakarta, Margarisje L.E. Makikul (Soprano), Johnson Hutagalung (Tenor) from Yogyakarta and Christina Sidjabat (Piano) from Bali and Mezzo-soprano singer Kristin Keam from Melbourne (Australia) who voluntarily took part in the concert. TANJUNG BENOA - Bali Tropic Resort & Spa Kitchen Team received 10 Silver Medals and 2 Bronze Medals in a culinary competition called “Bali Culinary Challenge 05” held by the Indonesian Professional Chef Association and got positions 2 & 3 at the Balinese Traditional Cooking Festival held by the Indonesia Nutrition & Culinary Association at the Grand Bali Beach Sanur, recently.
