About 841 people have caught
in the operation held by Yustisi Badung
Government Team in Seminyak, Legian,
Kuta, Tuban and Kedonganan Sub-district,
Kuta District, Badung recently. The
administrative society arrangement
was an effort of the government to
know the mobilization of people in
Badung and also to prevent undesirables

Learning
about Family Planning in Bali
BADUNG
15 people from six countries
in Africa (Gana, Zualilan, Botswana,
Namidia, Malawi and Kenya) joined
in a training programe about Planning
and Communication Management, Information
and Education (KIE) to support Family
Planning Programmes and Reproduction
Health in Bali. The training was
focused in the Badung Regency on
24 28 November. It was held
in the Badung Regency because the
Regency has had success through
family planning programmes (KB).

Change of Tourist Information

In conjunction with the effort
to increase visitors to Bali, especially
to Badung Regency many efforts have
been carried out by the government.
On Tuesday (22/11), the Badung Regent
AA Gde Agung and Mrs. Ratna Gde Agung
with the head of lurah and head of
villages exchaned tourist information
with the head of Jogjakarta, H. Herry
Zudianto and wife at Regent offices.

The Malaysian Ambassador, Dato
Zainal Abidin made visit to Bali aimed
to say thanks to Bali tourism stakeholders
who have given support, help, and
co-operation in developing tourism
for Bali in Malaysia and also introduced
Mr.Faizol Haji Hashim as The
Honorary Consul Malaysia in
Bali. The event entitled High
Tea Reception took place at
Papas Café, Kuta Monday
(28/11). Up to June 2005. It was noted
that 36,896 Malaysians the biggest
visitors from the ASEAN community
came to Bali. Dato Zainal contradicted
the suggested that Malaysia was supporting
financial aid for terrorists
