Ema
& Royal Seafood Restaurant
Savour Tasty Chinese Food & Dim Sums
Asian
(Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, Korean and
Singaporean) visitors comment: Holidays
in Bali is not been comprehensive when one
does not come by at Ema Restaurant.
The restaurant operating under management
of PT Ema Inti Mitra has been so familiar
with them due to delicacy of its Chinese
Food and Dim Sum. In Bali, there are many
restaurant serving similar menus, however
chiefly pertaining to palate and delicacy
matters, it is unparalleled. Why? Peking
duck is imported from China has become one
of its notable recipes.
Apart from being renowned for its two menus
mentioned, Ema Restaurant is in fact easy
to reach. Its location is remarkably strategic,
right in the centre of Duty Free Shopping
World, Mall Complex, Bali Galleria Roundabout,
Kuta. Its only 15 minutes drive from
Kuta, Sanur and Nusa Dua, 20 minutes from
downtown Denpasar and 60 minutes from Ubud.
This time approximation may fall short,
depending on traffic condition during your
passage. On the second floor of Duty Free
Shop World, other than Ema Restaurant, also
occurs Jali-Jali Restaurant still belonging
to the same holding company.
On entering the complex of the Duty Free
Shopping World, Bali Galeria all vehicles
will be strictly inspected. Since the incident
of Bali Bomb II, police department assist
the security of the complex by assigning
personnel equipped with metal detectors.
Facility
and Food Menu
Except for security and convenience, it
also has spacious parking area that is capable
of holding hundreds of cars. Other facilities,
Ema Restaurant has 500 seats, air-conditioned
rooms and clarion sound system will bring
you exceptional indoor atmosphere and pleasure.
The restaurant can also arrange weddings,
birthdays and other parties.
Some 100 options of Chinese Food and 40
Dim Sum menus are served in diverse savours.
Dim Sum is the most selling well and the
frequent reserved specialties are steamed
chicken feet with black bean sauce, steamed
BBQ park bun, steamed park rib with black
bean and steamed egg custard. This
Dim Sum is often reserved by Taiwanese,
Japanese, Korean, Chinese and domestic visitors,
said Yudha, an Operational Staff of Ema
Restaurant.
Also added, guests who eat here were mostly
Taiwanese that reached approximately 70%,
then, followed by Chinese, Japanese and
domestic. With the exception of being famous
for its Peking duck delicacy, Ema Restaurant
also provides special Chinese Food with
international flavour like Cantonese Chicken,
Roasted Pig a la Hong Kong and Sharks
Fin Soup, which is the most popular and
expensive. There are also Yang Chow Style
fried rice and Fried Noodle a la Singapore.
Particularly on Sunday and holidays,
Yudha told, there is special servings
of Troly Dim Sum a la Hong Kong. Royal
Seafood
September 2005, the management, PT Ema Inti
Mitra expanded its business by opening another
restaurant at the same complex named Royal
Seafood Restaurant. This restaurant specifically
provides seafood delicacies that are still
alive and displayed in the aquarium. There
are also stocks of fresh fish retained in
the freezer to be shown to customer. Its
concept is life seafood and seafood market,
said Hadi, Restaurant Manager of Royal Seafood.
Through display in aquarium is expected
that guests who would like to eat will see
and choose the selection of preferable seafood.
A wide selection of fish is available like
the grouper, snapper, goatfish and kakap.
There are also prawns, lobster, squid and
mussels that are still alive or fresh. Fresh
vegetables are on display, too. Having selected
in accordance with your taste and budget,
just wait for the delicacy prepared by the
chef cook of Royal Seafood from Hong Kong
to taste.
Its price is relatively cheap, for instance,
living lobster of pearl type is USD 80,
living grouper USD 25 and fresh prawn USD
15. For visitors, such prices are remarkably
inexpensive, moreover if compared to similar
items in other countries. European, Japanese,
Taiwanese and even Russian visitors like
best the seafood.
Since last October, sale of the restaurant
dropped nearly 60%. It is not merely caused
by bomb blast on 1 October, but also by
the case of avian influenza that set motion
to hit Indonesia. Even though the revenue
dropped, its party still has regular customers.
Probably, they are satisfied with
the service and delicacy of Ema and Royal,
said Hadi. Spending holiday in Bali? It
would not be complete without making your
time to luxuriate in the taste of Chinese
food and Dim Sum at Ema Restaurant and Seafood
Life at Royal Seafood. (BTN/poll)
