Tours in Buleleng
The Regency of Buleleng sprawls over
the full length of Balis north coast.
It is hot, dry and fringed with black sand
beaches and coconut palms. The largest regency
in Bali meets Karangasem Regency in the
northeast coast into the untouched jungle
territory of Balis National Park,
to the west end of the island. The Regency
has been more exposed to foreign influences
in the recent times. Buleleng was a port
for trading boats coming east on the route
to the Spice Islands and where Chinese,
Arabic, European, and Bugis merchants came
to exchange opium, arm, and kepeng
(Chinese coin form official money in Bali
during this era) for Balinese rice, fruits,
cattle, and slaves. In 1882, the Dutch made
Bali, Lombok and other islands in the east
of Bali into a combined Residency, and Singaraja
became the capital city.
There are many tourists spots and facilities
in this Regency of Buleleng. From small
stupa effigies showing signs of Buddhist
monks, to the beaches and fresh waterfalls
and sulfur water from the mountain. But
the good chance for you who love water sports
is a visit to Lovina Beach for their dolphin
attractions.
About 10 kilometers west of the capital
of Singaraja. The black sand beach is safe
and a wonderful place for swimming and snorkeling.
Lovina also offers dolphin viewing. Menjangan
Island, part of the West Bali National Park
has the most beautiful coral reefs in Bali.
A long with the nearby Labuan Lalang, this
is a great place for diving and snorkeling
A Dolphin is a mammal that lives in water.
This animal is absolutely no danger to humans.
Watching the dolphin in aquariums is very
different than watching them in their own
home, the ocean. Any time dolphins can be
watched to the north of Bali Island, from
Lovina beach.
As the first attraction in Bali, the fishermen
around the Lovina Beach organize Dolphin
Tour at North Bali. Lovina Beach Area that
featured this tour, with a lot of satisfactory
facilities and service.
The best time to watch the dolphins is around
06:00 10:00 am. You can see the group
of dolphins after 30 minutes paddle a canoe
you rent from the fishermen.
For some time before dolphins can be watched
at the north of Bali Island, but thats
far enough from Denpasar city. And now you
can watch the dolphins in The South of Bali
with the beautiful background of Bali. (BTN/*)
